He was predeceased by: his father Walter Thomas Macdowall, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother June Macdowall (Sorensen); his wife Barbara Macdowall (Knoll); his children, Brad Macdowall and Jessica Miali (Brett); his grandsons, Colt and Wyatt Miali; and his brother Thomas Walter Macdowall (Keri). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Church (1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517).
