It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Spencer Adams Jr. (Hamden, Connecticut), who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Brien Adams; and his parents, Frances O'Brien Adams and Spencer E. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Spencer E. Adams, III (Jennifer) of Portland Oregon; his granddaughters, Rosella Kay (Rosie) and Frances June (Junie); his siblings, Brien Adams (Bonnie) of Stamford, CT, Heather Sypniewski (Robert) of Palm Coast, FL and Diane Byrns (Douglas); and his siblings-in-law, Susan, Walter Goettlich, Lynn Moran, Jack Noheimer and Janet Moran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518-2544).
