He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Cintron and Bernabela Pomalés; and his sisters, Sara, Luz Maria and Carmen.
He is survived by: his wife Maria T. Cintron; his children, Robert, Carlos, Maritza, Angel and Michelle; and his great grandchild Angel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
