With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Constance Juanita Pullum-Smith of Hartford, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pullum and Bessie Pullum (Reddick); her husband Glenn Smith, Sr.; her boyfriend Arthur Holliday; and her siblings, John Wesley Pullum, Jr., Mildred Proctor, Mary Parker, Levine Long, Irene Mitchell and Yvonne Dorethia Williams (Russell Pullum).
She is survived by: her children, Glenn "Tommy" Smith (Tina), Eric Smith (Margaret "Meg" Avitable) and Alicia Holliday (Eon Whitley); her grandchildren, Jason Arnold, Shanice Smith, Jason Stover-Smith, Ayana Smith, Jahmil Smith (Yamillet), Tomi-Amil Smith, Eric, Jr. Smith (Kerrie Lutes), Justin Smith, Maddi Smith, Summer Smith, Isaiah Smith and Elon Whitley; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Grimes, Janiyah Smith, Leilani Smith, Zendaya Smith and Eric "Ter" Smith, III; her sister Sarah Long; and her close friend Lilly Harper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
