“Dave would come down to Chuck's Steak House on the Thames river in New London, CT and hang with the other pilots from the various airlines and Waterford Flight School. Some of these pilots would include Dave Tonery, John Bailey, Tom Rolfe, John Rutledge, Pete Baronoff, George Spalding, etc., etc. We would eat our steaks, drink our Mai Tais and discuss our experiences of our flying days. These were some really great times together with these really great guys & pilots. We will all miss them all.”
