She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Nick" Oliver and Deborah Cooper-Lewis; her son Kwame Jackson; and her brother Larry White. She is survived by: her son Malik Byrd; her siblings, William Cooper, Nick White (Stanley), Robert Oliver, Leonard Stanley, Arthur Stanley, Denise Cooper, Precious Hyland, Tawanda Johnson, Ranada Burton, Shavonne White, Joyce Oliver, Nickie White and Michel'le McKnight; and her grandchildren, Mckynze Waite, Sarye Byrd, Lanyi Ellison, Sage Bell, Laila Ellison, Sa'nai Byrd and Lorenza Ellison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Church (20 Battles St, Hartford, CT 06120). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
