He is survived by: his parent Sahoudri Rai (Jaipersaud); his daughters, Sunieta Rai of Hartford and Narinee Rai of Hartford; his grandchildren, Jayden, Aiden and Ariana Rai; his child-in-law Sabir Huussin; his siblings, Himansu Rai and Omchand Rai; his siblings-in-law, Leelawattie Rai and Reheeney Rai; his nieces and nephews, Raj, Preya, Reena, Dolly, Anil and Lisa; his friends, Brian Persaud, Paul and Papalo; and also, Jankie Sukoo and Kush.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dillon Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
