She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Santiago and Josefina Vega; and her siblings, Monserrate "Rate", Carmen Julia, Aladina "Cutin", Rosa Maria "Yio", Petra "Bolo", Jose Dolores "Lolo" and Encarnacion "Chon" Santiago.

She is survived by: her children, Maritza DeJesus-Quiñones, Cindy Quiñones and Willie Quiñones Jr. (Lizabeth Gonzalez); her grandchildren, Jonathan Quiñones, Jos'ua, Jeremy, Jacob, Jennesis DeJesus, Sydni Haddock, Rafael, Lyani, Christopher Castro, Deisha and Taina Quiñones; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Ellianna, Amelia, Lucas, Elias, Halo, Vayda, Mateo, Alaizah Calliope and Adan; and her brothers, Félix Santiago Jr., Juan Santiago, Jose M. Santiago and Adan Santiago. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hamden Plains Cemetery (248 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514).
