Evelyn Harris Obituary

As we bid Evelyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Evelyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Perlmuter and Dorothy Perlmuter; her husband Bob; her brother Lawrence Perlmuter of Chicago; and her children, Gayle Harris of West Hartford, Marsha Friedman (Cary) of Passaic, Henry Harris of Palm Springs, Ben Harris (Yona) of Pawlet and Judith Sinai (Roni) of Teaneck. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made in her memory to the New England Jewish Academy or the Young Israel of West Hartford.
