He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Jean Johnson; his parents, James Johnson and Carrie Lou Anderson; his son Anthony "Tony" Johnson; and his brother Nathaniel Johnson of Hartford.
He is survived by: his daughter Delores Renee Moore (Limp) of Glastonbury, CT; his grandson Donovan Moore (Ke'Anna) of Glastonbury, CT; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Caiden and Caison Moore; his sisters-in-law, Susie Johnson of Hartford, CT and Georgia Smiley (Richard) of Decatur, AL; his godson Vincent Gaither; and his niece Tori Gaither of Hartford, CT.
