He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bishop Clarance, Lady Caroline Allen and James; his friend Austin Smith of Bloomfield; his parents, Louise Bailey and George Bailey; his grandfather Bishop Clarence; and the mother of his children Jacquline Watkins-Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie (Howard Friday), Quinten, Olivia and Alison (Kevin James); his wife Marion Green-Bailey; his son Chris Bailey; his grandchildren, Sharise, Jasmine, Kevin, Martin and Sherri; and his great grandchildren, Tahlee, Javaughn, Savannah, Kay and Kevin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ Church of Deliverance (159 Blue Hills Ave, Hartford, CT 06112). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ct State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
