He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lyra Ross; his children, Sean Gabbidon of Toronto, Micheal S. Norman of Maui, HI and Kelley L. Norman of Kansas; his grandson Nicholas Skeete of Washington, DC; his siblings, Betty Thomas (Tosount) of East Berlin, CT, Steven I. Norman (Patricia) of Lugoff, SC, Donald Norman of Bloomfield, CT, Paul Norman of Alpharetta, GA, Linda Cowan of East Hartford, CT and Judy Weatherly (Robert) of Bloomfield, CT; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Ross of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lodge Community Chapel (130 Deerfield Rd, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A repast will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lodge Reception Hall (130 Deerfield Rd, Windsor, CT 06095). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (26 Mountain Ave, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a fund that has been created to foster and develop funding for Dr. Norman's passions.
