It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Marrero of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rosa and Jacinta Sanchez; her siblings, Isabel (Chavela) and Andres (Chame); and her daughter Luz Naida (Cuty).
She is survived by: her son Freddy Marrero, Jr.; her grandchildren, Freddy, Juan and Orlando; her great grandchildren, Freddy Jr., Paris, Londyn, Leilani and Cuty; her siblings, Maria, Carmen, Daniel (Helen) and Iris (Hector); and her siblings' child Oneida.
