We announce the death of Maria A. Burgos of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 81. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Feliciano Vazquez (Félix Burgos) and Maria (Pilar Alamo); and her siblings, Basilio Burgos, Juan Burgos, Jose Burgos, Felix Burgos, Pedro Cruz, Rosalia Burgos and Carmen Burgos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Gonzalez (Wandy) and Edaliz Ramos (Daly); her grandchildren, Vanessa, David, Xsavier, Alexa and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Gabriela, Arianna and Danni; and her sister Ana Burgos.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the same location.
