She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Machado; her parents, Manuel Soares Figueiredo and Maria Esperanca Figueiredo (Moura); and her brother Jose Antonio Soares. She is survived by: her children, Eduarda Loura (Carlos) of Wethersfield and Valdemar Machado (Ana) of East Hartford; her grandchildren, Leslie Loura (Jose), Danny Machado (Lisa), David Machado and Valdemar Machado; her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Alaina and Diana; and her sister Delta Freitas of Wethersfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
