Patricia A. Blake Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Patricia A. Blake in Hartford, Connecticut. Patricia, born on November 26, 1947, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Rinehart (Kauffman) and Cleveland Rinehart; and her brothers, Robert Rinehart, Gerald Rinehart and Michael Rinehart.
She is survived by: her husband John Blake of Vernon; her son John C. Blake, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Bernadeta of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Andrew of Chicago, IL and Kasia of New York, NY; her daughter Elizabeth Blake of Biddeford, ME; her sisters, Judith Blair (William Blair) of Beaverton, OR, Mary Hoover (Robert Hoover) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Elizabeth Raphael of East Hartford, CT, Denise Figueroa (Joey Figueroa) of Staten Island, NY, Grace Rinehart of East Hartford, CT and Alma Wing (Daniel Wing) of Forestville, CT; and her sisters-in-law, Ana Rinehart and Julie Rinehart. She is also survived by friends, beloved in-laws, nieces and grandnieces, and nephews and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (673 Ellington Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
