She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Ricks and Robert Scottie Ricks; her husband Anibal S. Lopez; and her siblings, Deborah Ricks, Lori Ricks and Loren Ricks.
She is survived by: her brothers, Gary Ricks (Margaret) of Windsor, Connecticut, William Ricks of Middletown, Connecticut and Robert Ricks of Newington, Connecticut.; her stepchildren, Anibal Lopez Jr. (Angie) of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Melinda Lopez of Hartford, Connecticut, Naia Lopez of Hartford, Connecticut and Karilyana Lopez of Wethersfield, Connecticut.; her godchildren, Avishai El, Meisha Armstrong and Troy Gillespie; and her friends, Sharon Smith and Dr. Finitia Armstrong. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
