It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Lambert in Hartford, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip A. Giraca and Alma R. Giraca (Dube); her son Philip A. Lambert; and her sister Anne Piontek. She is survived by : her children, David Lambert (Joanna) of Lebanon, Mark Lambert (Jackie) of Lebanon, Keith Lambert (Brenda) of Columbia and Laurie Chick (John) of Tolland; her grandchildren, Jessica Chick, Justine Bertora (Nick), Stacey Lambert, Corrine Lambert, Rachel Lambert, Alyssa Lambert, Riley Lambert, Kailey Chick and Finn Lambert; and her sister Betty Urban. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' memory to the Covenant Soup Kitchen, 220 Valley St., Willimantic, CT. 06226 or to St. Mary Church, 80 Maple Ave., Willimantic, CT. 06226.

Beverly Scalora wrote a sympathy message

“I was shocked to learn of Phyllis's passing and will never forget her. Even when I moved to Wallingford we still kept in touch by phone. As an avid reader she always had a book in her hand. We enjoyed lots of good times and laughs at bingo for many years. I know she will be greatly missed by the many friends she had. I hope she is at peace and happily reunited with family who have gone before her. My condolences to her family. RIP my dear friend, Beverly and Paul Scalora”
