He was predeceased by : his parents, Emiliano Valentin and Maria Valentin (Torres); his wife Ana L. Valentin; and his brothers, Jaime Valentin and Angel L. Valentin.

He is survived by : his children, Ana J. Valentin and Ramon Valentin Jr.; his grandchildren, Kevin K. Ajodhi, Alyssa N. Ajodhi and Vanessa S. Ajodhi; his stepgrandchildren, Maria E. Carrasco, Luis M. Carrasco, Wilfredo Carrasco, Darlene Carrasco and Ana Elizabeth Sanchez; and also Maria Y. Carrasco.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (10 Campfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
