He was predeceased by : his parents, Preston T. Henderson, Sr. and Nina E. Henderson (Johnson). He is survived by : his wife Hattie Thornton-Henderson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (350 Albany Ave, Hartford, CT 06120). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (1768 Sharps Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572).
