She is survived by: her children, Amiel Nelson (Troy) of Conyers, GA and Troy Nelson of Bloomfield, CT; her daughter-in-law Terry-Ann Nelson; her grandchildren, Melia, Anniela Nelson of Conyers, GA and Trent Nelson of Bloomfield, CT; and her siblings, Rennard Blackwood of Brooklyn, NY, Cora Thompson of West Hartford, CT and Vernon Blackwood of Windsor, CT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
