He was predeceased by : his parents, William Davis and Madeline Davis (O'Neil). He is survived by : his wife Dorthea (Lavorgna); his son William Davis III (Kathryn) of Wallingford; and his grandchildren, Molly and Wade Davis.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (115 Pond Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the Memoriam Cemetery (18 Maplewood Ave, Wallingford, CT 06492).
