We announce the death of Yolanda Sousa (Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 100. Yolanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her stepson Jorge Sousa. She is survived by: her daughters, Silvia Sousa Winn (Nick) and Diana Sousa Jepsen (George); her sisters, Mirella Perez and Juanita Espinosa; her grandchildren, Larah Winn (John Boorjian), Jessica Winn (Ricky Czachor) and Nick Winn (Kaitlin Colleary); her great grandchildren, Shea and Casey; her grandchildren, Christian Jepsen (Robyn Jepsen), William and Robbie Sousa (Mitsy); and her great grandchild Ali.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Molloy Funeral Home (906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (79 New Park Ave, Hartford, CT 06106).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you brush your hair, tuck in your shirt, stand up straight, and hug someone you love in her memory.
