With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Erika Gertrud Swenson of Harwinton, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her spouse Sidney Swenson; and her parents, Herbert Krause and Johanna Krause (Kohler). She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Dornfried (Joseph), Brenda Jansen and Marion Stressow (Michael); her siblings, Heinz Krause (Ursela) and Waltraud Woytnik (Norbert); her granddaughter Laura Proll (Leonard); and her great grandchildren, Jakob and Lukas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to ASPCA, a national leader in animal rescue and protection.
