He was predeceased by: his wife Karin Peterson Sedgwick; his parents, Allyn Sedgwick and Jane Smith Sedgwick; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his son William Sedgwick (Jennifer); his grandson Steven; his daughter Penny Sedgwick; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Alexander and Mary; and his brothers, Allyn (Chip) and Robert Sedgwick.
