He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Procopio and Rosina Procopio (Scicchitano); and his siblings, Titina Procopio of Italy, Mary Forish and Ralph Procopio of Bridgeport, CT..
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Procopio (Bonola-Ligas) of Harwinton; his daughter Sara Whitley (James) of Kissimmee, FL; his stepdaughters, Jessica Ligas Hess (Jeffrey) of Willow Grove, PA and Melissa Ligas Hurley (Stephen) of Torrington, CT; his grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah Hess, Olivia, Eric and Angelina Hurley; his brothers, Samuel Procopio (Anna) of Derby, CT and Vincent Procopio (Olga) of Leesburg, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Gianoli (Dennis), Judy Bielomyza, Nancy Barwikowski (Gary) and Joseph Bonola (Kristen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews plus many cousins.
