John E. Ostrout Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Ostrout of Hebron, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ostrout and Dorothy Ostrout. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ostrout; his siblings, Marnette Fritz and Larry Ostrout; his children, Michael (Trish Docker), Kathryn Salois Docker and Thomas Docker; his grandchildren, Travis Salois (Christina), Van, Sam, Shealyn and Chase Docker; and his great grandchild Theodore Salois.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Peters Episcopal Church, 30 Church Street, Hebron 06248 or to Troop 25, Center Congregational Church, 11 Center Street, Manchester, CT 06040, an organization that John held close to heart.
