He is survived by: his children, Amy Richmond of Haddam and Michael Richmond of Higganum; his grandson Caleb Prchal; his sister Vicky (Marv Houghton); his daughter-in-law Susan Richmond (Aubree Richmond); and his granddaughter Morgan Richmond (Mary Anne Prchal) of Killingworth.

A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the State Veterans' Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
