He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Burton and Emily L. Bawden; and his sister Alice Burton. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Baldwin; his siblings, Rebecca Hale, Scott Burton (Sue) and Susan Burton; and his son Cody Burton. He is also survived by many family members and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home (490 Voluntown Rd, Griswold, CT 06351).
In lieu of flowers, a donation will be made in Wayne's honor to the Ledyard High School Agri-Science Program.
