Cynthia McCarthy Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Cynthia McCarthy of Kensington, Connecticut. Cynthia, born on March 30, 1959 in Meriden, Connecticut, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrison Tozier and Ruth Tozier (Wollenberg). She is survived by: her husband Kevin; her sister Lynn Tozier of Sandwich, MA; her aunt Marilyn Kronenberger of Meriden; her siblings-in-law, Ellen Ness (Ronald) and Edward McCarthy, III (Sharon); her nieces, Amanda Caron (Matthew), Erin McCarthy and Kathryn McCarthy; and her great-nephews, Landen and Wyatt Caron.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home (48 Cook Ave, Meriden, CT 06451). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (164 Hanover St, Meriden, CT 06451). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (817 Old Colony Rd, Meriden, CT 06451).
