He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Oakes and Mary Oakes. He is survived by: his sibling Irish; his wife Nancy Oakes (Elliott); his son Daniel; his siblings, David Oakes (Christine), Rita Maltese, Cathy Murning (Doug), Linda Feshler (Bob) and Deborah Reginio; his pet Chelsea; and his niece Joanna Maltese. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
