It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gennaro Cistulli of Kensington, Connecticut, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Antonio and Anna Cistulli (Valerio); and his son Anthony Cistulli. He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Giannini); his sons, Peter (Pamela) and John (Carla); his grandchildren, Bryan Cistulli, Kaitlyn DeGennaro (Stephen), Daniel Cistulli, Casey Cistulli (Madison), Amber Cistulli and Maria Cistulli; and his great grandchildren, Noah DeGennaro and Isabella Rosalia Cistulli. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann Church (101 North St, New Britain, CT 06051). An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
