He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" LaRoche; his sons, Matthew Benzie of Punta Gorda, FL and Philip Benzie of Worcester, MA; his sister Cyndy Poole of Punta Gorda, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Brent, Jodi, Ryan and Kyle. He is also survived by His extended family includes nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
