He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Tighe and Marion Tighe (Tweedie); his wife Gilda Tighe (Comosse); and his siblings, Tom Tighe of Sutton, Fran MacAvey of Worcester, Pat Jones of Holden and Helen Sheehan of Millbury.

He is survived by : his siblings, Mary Turcotte of North Grafton and Paul Tighe of Worcester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
