She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus P. Cushman, Jr. and Clara Morse Cushman; her husband William B. Gumbart, Jr.; and her siblings, Jane Cushman Deyo, Mary Cushman Colwell and Rufus P. Cushman III.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bill Gumbart, Sue Cornick of Boulder, Tom and Carol Gumbart of Franklin; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Laurel; her grandchildren, Ted, Mary Beth Gumbart of Townsend and Georgia; her great grandchild Taylor; her grandchildren, David and Sue Gumbart of Killingworth; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Clara, Ann and Sarah. She is also survived by her four sons, four daughters-in-law.
