We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2023, at the age of 92, Jean Drake Watrous of Ledyard, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Frasier Allen and Gertrude Mae Allen Black (Matthews); her brother Walter; her former life partner Claude E. Drake of Preston; her husband Elbert E. Watrous of Ledyard; and her grandson Benjamin Flickner.

She is survived by : her sisters, Ruth Wunderlich of Florida and Frances Irvine of New Hampshire; her daughters, Carol Marsh (Charles) of Missouri, Diane Meacham (Robert) of Maine, Linda Flickner (Paul) of Groton and Sandra Rockett (Matthew) of Ledyard; and her stepchildren, Mae Greenleaf (Arthur) of Florida, Larry Watrous (Lori) of Missouri and Henry Watrous (Debbie) of Arizona. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
