We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2023, at the age of 91, Luminado Vega Aponte (Ledyard, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Julio Vega and Julia Vega; his wife Sara Vega of World's Fair; and his siblings, Israel Vega, Diomedes Vega (Eddie), Samuel Vega and Irene Vega Aponte.

He is survived by : his children, Brendaly Vega, Welbi Vega (Mary), Eaphel Vega and Millie Vega; his grandchildren, Bowen Vega-Coburn, Sara Vega, Hannah Vega and Noah Vega; and his siblings, Celia Vega Aponte, Mercedes Vega Aponte and Tito Vega. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
