She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Bowman and Hazel Burnett Bowman; her former husband Charles Pekar; and her stepson Joseph DiMauro, III (Jay). She is survived by: her children, James Pekar and Krista Adams (Dorothy); her husband Joseph DiMauro; her stepdaughter Joyce DiMauro; and her sisters, Barbra Papin (Kenneth) and Gloria Ortiz (Carlos). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
