She was predeceased by: her husband Peter G. Lawson; her parents, Leon Harmon and Evelyn Harmon (Bouton); and her brother Leon Harmon (Marion) of West Warwick, RI.. She is survived by: her children, Lori A. Lawson of Torrington, James M. Lawson (Kathy) of Chesterfield, MA and Abigail S. Lawson of Torrington; her grandsons, Graham, Taylor and Jordan Lawson; and her brothers, Gordon E. Harmon (Marge) of Collinsville and Frederic "Rick" Harmon (Lisa) of Maitland, FL..
