With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan U. DuMond (Litchfield, Connecticut), who passed away on March 23, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence James and Jeanne Umlauf (Beacom); her husband Dennis T. DuMond; her daughter Paula Pellino; and her brother Marshall Umlauf.
She is survived by: her children, James, Hoorn (Bonnie) of Torrington and Elizabeth Stevers (Jeff) of Vernon; her grandchildren, Sarah Fernette (Eric) of Bristol, Jason, Hoorn (Marina) of Miami, FL, Catherine Pellino of Canton, Diana Jones of Conroe, TX and Tina Bailey (Anthony) of Southwick; her son-in-law Dan Pellino of Avon; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Leo Fernette of Bristol, Gavin and Carter Bailey of Southwick.
