He is survived by: his wife Donna Battistoni (Cappellina); his son John A. Battistoni, Jr. of Torrington, CT; his brother Vincent Battistoni (Barbara) of Litchfield, CT; and his nieces, Wendy Sousa, Tina Perrone, Laura Seeley and Lisa Cushman.
