He was predeceased by: his mother Hilah McCahill. He is survived by: his father Peter McCahill; his wife Cathy; his son Craig; his daughter-in-law Amanda; his grandchild Caden; his children, Sarah, John and Kelley Lyle (Jake); his sister Robin; and his pet Finn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thurston Rowe Funeral Home (283 Torrington Rd, Litchfield, CT 06759).
