She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur I. Nelson; her parents, John Chipman and Phyllis Oldenwald Chipman Packer; and her sisters, Marcia Chipman and Marilyn Thulin.
She is survived by: her son Kristofer Nelson; her grandson Jacob Nelson; and her sister-in-law Alice Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peters-Trinity Church (160 Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (1 Marine St, Thomaston, CT 06787).
