He is survived by: his wife Sharon Torrant (Castelli); his children, Jeffrey Torrant (Holly) of Norfolk, Andeen Holm (Jim) of Litchfield, David Torrant (Darlene) of Norfolk and Andrew Torrant (Katie) of Houston, Texas; his son-in-law Kevin Fischer (Lisa) of Morris; his grandchildren, Bailey Bocci (David), Mackenzie Hayes (Stephen), Morgan Ives (Jackson), Adrianna Torrant, Mason Torrant and Alexander Torrant; his great grandchild Brooke Bocci; his siblings, Jonathan Torrant (Susan) of Litchfield, Don Torrant (Louise) of Norfolk and Kathleen Sherrill (Geoffrey) of Lime Rock; and his sister-in-law Lauren Napolillo (Dick) of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and longtime friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (49 South St, Litchfield, CT 06759). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Torrington Country Club (250 Torrington Rd, Goshen, CT 06756).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Litchfield Volunteer Ambulance Association or the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance.
