We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024, at the age of 74, John R. Chittenden of Madison, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John R. Chittenden to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his brother David Chittenden III; and his parents, David Chittenden Jr. and Jane Ostrander. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Chittenden; his daughter Alessa Bagalio (Devin Bagalio); his grandchildren, Rianna of Randolph Center, Vermont., Dominic of Randolph Center, Vermont. and Dylan of Randolph Center, Vermont.; and his stepdaughter Tara Carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chittenden Home in Randolph Center.

Donations to the Food Shelf, the Gifford Garden Room, or to a scholarship fund for students interested in building trades, are welcome.
