It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Smallman of Madison, Connecticut, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Smallman (Bill); and her son Michael Smallman. She is survived by: her children, Mary S. Cooper, William Smallman (Jay) and Jill S. Hurlburt; and her brother William Honan. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
