With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sue Butler (Madison, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee J. Butler and Miriam Butler; her sister Julie Sturgill; and her children, David and Kathryn Vause Stratton.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Vause (Elizabeth) of Clinton, Colonel Ryan Vause (Trina) of Phoenix, Sara Vause (Dennis) of Wallingford and Sally Vause (Ian) of Glastonbury; her grandchildren, JessicaSue, Jordan Dykman, Hadley, Courtney Vause, Tyler Vause, Cody Gunn, Daymon Smith, Sydney and Alexandra Robison; her sibling Kay Gamble of Utah; and her fiancé Scott Samuelson of Idaho. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (275 Warpas Rd, Madison, CT 06443).
