He is survived by: his mother Ana Mercado; his wife Nelba Mercado (Vasquez); his son Josué Mercado; his daughter-in-law Hailee; his grandchildren, Jasilyn, Gabriel, Wyatt and Faith; his son Eliezer Mercado; his daughter-in-law Mileidy; his grandson Lorenzo; his great grandchild Cheimish; his siblings, Mercedes Mercado, Hector Mercado, Carmen Mercado, Maria Mercado, Ana Rosa Mercado, Rafael Mercado, Juan Carlos Mercado and Jose Mercado; and his siblings-in-law, Miguel Vazquez, Sonia Vazquez and Lucy Vazquez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the East Cemetery (220 E Center St, Manchester, CT 06040).
