She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ruggles and Norma Ruggles (Jones); her husband John Bossidy; and her brothers, Gardner Ruggles, Clarence Bud Ruggles and Stanley Mike Ruggles.
She is survived by: her children, John Bossidy II of Longmeadow, MA and Bridget; her grandson Michael; her children, Rev. Daniel and Carol Bossidy of Torrington, CT; her grandchildren, Kelly Bossidy of Torrington, CT., Anna of Torrington, CT. and Jeff Beckman of Torrington, CT.; her children, Kellen Hackett of Boston, MA, Conor Hackett of South Windsor, CT., Andrew Hackett of South Windsor, CT., Meaghan (Paul Taylor), Samantha (Jason Figueroa), Benjamin (Brittany Walsh) and Kathleen Walsh of Manchester, CT.; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Shea, Brooke, Olivia and Samuel.
Barbara spent her final years in Torrington at the Cottage Assisting Living while her son Daniel and his family watched over her during the pandemic.
