It is with sadness that the passing of Carl A. Hohenthal of Manchester, Connecticut is shared. Carl, born on December 15, 1947, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina and Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Kate Darcy Hohenthal; his children, Matthew and Sara (Ryan); his brothers, Norm Hohenthal (Eleanor) and Eric Hohenthal (Sally); his nieces and nephews, Paul Hohenthal (Laura), Heather Hohenthal (David Stone), Gary Hohenthal (Heather) and Beth Thigith (Peter); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ina, Lowan and Eric. He is also survived by loving extended family and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the East Cemetery (220 E Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Manchester Country Club (305 S Main St, Manchester, CT 06040).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Carl's honor to the Carl Hohenthal Golf Scholarship (https://www.tmcfunding.com), where a scholarship will be established in his name to help children learn to play golf.
